Summer (June – August): It can be warm during the day, so visiting in the morning is recommended.  Go prepared and take enough water considering the temperature – there is no shop there!
Autumn (September – November): Once green colors on the trees turn to yellow and red the valley shows its different side. Cooler temperatures and colorful leaves create a beautiful contrast with the white limestone rocks.
Winter (December – February): As less and less leaves remains you can even spot a waterfall at the end of the canyon. Be careful with the daylight – canyon faces west and is deep, so going down in the afternoon may not pay off, as in winter almost no sun reaches the bottom of the canyon. Keep in mind that the trail may be slippery after rain.
